The run he made that drew the penalty in the game v Argentina was incredible. He ran from deep in his own half and if he hadn't been fouled we would be talking about one of the all time great world cup goals.

7. Harry Kane and company need to face Croatia first

So far, looks like he is in 1st place for the golden boot award. This game is today, Wednesday 2pm EST

8. This game never caught fire for me.

Not entirely sure why. Decent opening 20 minutes, but a workmanlike 1-0 from France after that.

While I didn't particularly care about the outcome, I'm surprised why it left me feeling so flat. It also kinds of sums of Hazard for me: lots of mazy runs without end product.

9. I was pulling for Belgium

I really hoped they could have been in the final, but France played a good defence. It will be interesting to see how England will do against Croatia.

I would have loved to see a Croatia v Belgium final to see two sides who haven't reached the final in their history.
