(6,261 posts)I'm over here and watched it on BBC1. Only one team in it, really. Never mind the penalty appeals. I don't rate Walcott, but he was great, though Giroud scored in the mere 5 minutes he was allotted.
And yet, we'll fall two or three players short of mounting a serious title charge next season again. As always. Ho hum.

My sons, Charlie George Graham Chapman and Bertie Mee Obvious, don't know any better then that this is as good as it gets. Maybe next year...

(961 posts)Aston Villa was lucky not to get relegated. Not sure how they ever made it to the FA Cup Final.

(14,804 posts)...was how little it seemed to matter to Arsenal supporters. Most football supporters would be ecstatic about winning the FA Cup but barely a whiff of celebration from our prawn sandwich eating chums at the Emirates.
