On giving life back to that box of parts
I've got dreams of doing something similar to a mid 60s Triumph 500

They weren't rounded on the sides. Glad I bought some scooter tires. Even with those on it, it steers like a tank. The last 2 owners couldn't get the motor to fire. Turns out the cam for the points was off of a 1959 model, a 12 volt system, not 6. Took a bit to figure that one out. My buddy just got a late 60s T100 for a winter project.

I got a long way to go before my project is realized, first hurdle is to get out of this apartment in the middle of the city and get a place with a garage, then i got to find the worthy project bike.
My First bike looked a lot like this one
