Motorcycle & Scooter
Related: About this forumI've got my spot reserved next month to ride one of these.
I love my Harley. It's loud. It shakes so much I can stir a can of paint in three minutes. I get 55mpg. I pull away from the pump and at the most I spend about $8. It smells like an old 442 with straight pipes.
If the ride is anything like my Sporty, I'd trade it all in a heartbeat for one of these: LiveWire. It's quiet, sounds like a Jerson's car, Eco friendly, and made in good ole 'Merica.
I'll follow up with my review next month.

(512 posts)and well decibel levels naturally rise when accelerating...in residential neighborhoods I do try to move along as quickly and quietly as possible, but sometimes just can't be helped...like on memorial day weekend when we are rolling toward the Iwo Jiwa memorial at 530am with around 50 or so bikes...yeah I'm used to it and all that sound bouncing around off those tall buildings...hurts even my ears

(10,201 posts)Folks don't see us. Period. At least maybe they can be bothered to hear us. Every single day (no exaggeration) someone does their very best to ignore the fact that we exist on the road, and do their absolute best to try and kill us...
Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
