Heavy gear, so FINALLY got my minis back

after some fixing... tomorrow will go play a game of Heavy Gear... near where my BIL lives. All I needed to do was get a new set of the rules. Dang, they did change them quite a bit. It was fast playing. I suspect it is going to be even faster now.

Nope back in the day did not pin them. If I get more I will have to... as is thinking of getting a couple for painting and just painting for painting contest. It's just that at 1\144 scale, yes they are painful to convert, pin and at times detail. I feel I am up to THAT challenge...

And have them laminated.

I also started repainting, and rebasing the infantry and wallabies. Learning how to use the scenic pain grim GW. Yup, you can tell the ten year improvement. But the infantry needed rebasing.

This is kind of amusing actually, how these paints work.

Yes, I am more of a painter I think, but that's ok.

for our massive AD&D encounters. The game master was also a wargamer and Civil War reenactor (now a SF/Fantasy author); he liked to stage massive miniatures battlefields. I loved that!
