UPDATE: Minecraft modpacks

Last edited Sat Dec 20, 2014, 01:28 AM - Edit history (1)

I'm getting Minecraft soon as a Hannukah present and I need help. I would want your opinion on which modpack you think is the best. I'm looking into an adventure-type/building pack for now.

Your feedback is appreciated.

UPDATE: Tried to install Forge. I don't know why it's not working

I've been playing it off-and-on for a while and enjoy it a lot.

Of course as soon as you say Feed The Beast, the next question is "Yeah, but which Feed The Beast modpack???" (There are a bunch)

Of the ones I tried, I've liked the Direwolf20 pack the best. It has a good mixture of technology and magic based mods (although I mostly ignore the magic part), so you can approach it in many different ways. The amount of mods can seem daunting at first, but once you get into them it becomes easier.

If you have any questions or want some pointers let me know.

Can you add other mods that are not included in the pack?
