The end of era. Miyamoto discusses retirement.

Granted he isn't retiring right this instant, but it's on the horizon and regardless of whether you like Nintendo or not gaming would not be where it is today without Miyamoto. He really is a living legend and I hate to see him go. I don't think anyone has has the influence on the videogame industry that Miyamoto has.

If he retires I don't see how Nintendo survives, he was responsible for nearly all of their good games. Nearly everyone agrees that Nintendo's third party support sucks, it was Miyamoto's games that sold Nintendo's hardware.
