A family of gamers I met back in the DII days (Mom, Dad, son and daughter) who played Guild Wars and also plays World Of Warcraft just uninstalled the game. That's four copies, dead. They lasted from opening day till last week. I've bee plying sporadically, mostly in the auction hall to try and make a million gold at the auction. I got 160,000 to go. After that I think I'll delete the shortcut from my desktops and ride it till the update. My sweetie stopped playing normal in the first act. She hated it worse than Sim City Societies. Dark and shitty she said. And she played DII back in the day until 2003.
Blizzard sold us a duck that can't float, and it truly sucks.

(25,089 posts)I just started playing it yesterday. So far I like it. It seems like it could be addictive.
but like D2 (or most games I suppose, I did that with Skyrim - was crazy about it for weeks then put it aside for a while) there comes a point where you put it down for a while and come back later. that point took me about 2 1/2 months to get to so I figure that's a pretty good deal if you divided up $60 by the hours played, and still counting.
