Watching your husband's team lose the Super Bowl can't be easy, but nobody expected this kind of reaction from the world's most famous supermodel.
Gisele Bundchen tossed Tom Brady's teammates under the bus following the Giants 21-17 upset of the Patriots in the Super Bowl. The Brazilian beauty was caught in a moment of weakness by TheInsider.com waiting for an elevator as she left the suites at Lucas Oil Stadium.
A few Giants fans started heckling her about Brady's performance as she walked quickly through the concourse. After initially smiling and even trying to ignore the fans, Bundchen let her guard down just long enough to deliver a foul-mouthed defense of her man -- and a sideswipe of his receivers.
"You (have) to catch the ball when you're supposed to catch the ball," she is heard saying. "My husband cannot [expletive] throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times."

(35,392 posts)100 times out of 100 said that he was to blame for that failure.
Side note ... on an Akron Ohio radio station, the news was touting an "Akron Connection" to the SuperBowl win ... that the guy who intercepted the Patriots pass was from the University of Akron. I wondered to Mrs. ZBDent if they would be touting his connection if he was the guy who dropped the "game-losing" pass ... she just grinned (both of us were cheering for the Giants).

(8,212 posts)I'm a Giants fan, but I like Wes Welker- maybe because I got him cheap in a ppr league the last 2 years and he made me some money.

(41,692 posts)She defended her husband from some douchebag who was yelling at her.
Plus---she was 100 percent right.

Lady, if you can do better, go catch some balls. . .but what I know about the modeling industry, you already do!

(72,483 posts)Your hubby gave up 9 points on the first play of the game ....
2 for the safety and 7 for the touchdown that followed.
Tom also put up a nice "wounded duck" that was picked off.
Yes, some players might have dropped some passes but that isn't
the only story of the game. I seem to remember the Pats having the
lead late in the 4th quarter and letting the G-men drive the field
to win the game.
But after the game I wish people would have enough sense and class
as to leave the game on the field and not bother the players and or
their families.

It seems the defense gave it up.

(41,692 posts)2 points gave them the big Mo?
What no mention of how the Pat's went into halftime up by a point?
Brady single handily kept the Pats in the game.

(72,483 posts)De Nile is filled w/ dangers. Brady's first play of the game helped the Giants
get 9 points ...... take away those 9 points and the final score would have been
New England 17 NY Giants 12. And if he had thrown a better pass to Wes Welker
then the Pats might have closed out the game. Brady was the limp groom on a
wedding night after Tuck hit him and the Giants scored the last 12 points of the
game.
I think Tom's mojo has been sucked out of him by living with a women who
has umlaut in her name.
Bündchen = fear the umlaut!
Maybe the Pats can trade Brady for a 4th round pick this spring.

Points scored before Justin Tuck's hit = 17
Points after Justin Tuck's hit = 0
Brady is a hell of a QB no bout a doubt it. One of the best ever.
But Ely out played him. End of story.

(41,692 posts)You ever been on an NFL sideline.
It's like no other sound in the sporting world.
Athletes at 6:6--250 pounds who run 4.5 speed...hitting each other at maximum speed.
I'm not saying the Rugby players are not tough----but a rugby player would be destroyed on an NFL field.
