(31,261 posts)Brady may lose, but in none of the 8 other Super Bowls that he has been has he sucked. The guy is Michael Jordan clutch. Even a person that does not root for the Patriots can admire what they have done, every Super Bowl that they have played in have been nailbiters.

(25,698 posts)It was match-up the 4 top seeded teams, the best of the best. All of the teams had outstanding records this year. I really thought it would end up being Saints vs Chiefs Super Bowl. For both games to be decided in OT was remarkable. Super Bowl will take a lot to come up to the excitement of these 2 games.

(31,261 posts)We may have witnessed something that sy never happen again, both Conference Championship games going into overtime. In all the game played so far, the only two that were not close were Colts-Texans and Patriots-Chargers.

(16,283 posts)play such a large role in the outcome of the two most important games of the year (to date).
It is a good way to get casual fans to tune out. And despite the good ratings that football gets, casual fans VASTLY outnumber die-hard fans.
All sports need to figure out how to find the right balance when it comes to enforcing the rules / having questionable rule enforcement affect game outcomes, but pro football is in a unique position vis-a-vis pro baseball, basketball, and hockey in that the postseason games are single-elimination. One bad call late in a close game and the whole thing looks illegitimate and arbitrary...

Doubt it would be least watched though.

I'll be watching the game, but I won't dial in the boob tube until kickoff because I'll be damned if I'll shit through that pregame shit.
