When he calls the NFC games. He is obviously biased since he played for Dallas.

(13,095 posts)Seahawks fans petition to ban FOX's Buck, Aikman from broadcasts (2015)
SEATTLE Thousands of normally loud Seahawks fans are calling for silence from one NFL broadcast team who they say are biased against their favorite team.
An online petition is calling for FOX Sports announcing team Joe Buck and Troy Aikman to be banned from calling future Seahawks games.
The petition, posted by Corey Bailey, had over 18,000 signatures as of Saturday morning. It reads:
"The Seattle Seahawks 12th man are growing increasingly tired of the negative remarks that are consistently made against our team by Fox Sports commentators Troy Aikman & Joe Buck. As nationally televised games, we understand that the commentators need to be sensitive to both the fans of the home and away team. However, Aikman & Buck's comments heavily favor any and all of the Seahawks opponents. Their comments are incredibly critical and degrading. Not only do we respectfully request, the 12th Man DEMANDS that these two commentators be banned from calling any future Seahawks games."

(1,265 posts)Aikman, Romo, and most recently, Witten because he wants announcers that won't say anything about the Cowboys or himself that he does not like. Those BS calls at the end of the game cost the Seahawks. The penalties against the Cowboys weren't made until they were right up on scoring. The penalties were designed to allow the Cowboys to take time off the clock, which the Sea Hawks needed.

(28,609 posts)Plus there's been a ton of ticky tack calls down the stretch and the broadcast team is basically ignoring that

(16,283 posts)but Buck/Aikman are really, really, really not deserving of being the #1 broadcast duo of a major network for pro football. They aren't the worst, but they are far from the best.
They are amongst those with the best name recognition though... unfortunately, that seems to be a factor.

(3,163 posts)I do think he is losing his mind, though, because it often seems to me that he is narrating a different game than the one I'm watching. He forgets to engage his brain before putting his mouth in motion and says things that bear no relationship whatever to what I see happening on the field.
