Kicker missing as Wake Forest lines up for field goal

Wake Forest was all set to line up for a go-ahead field goal in the first quarter against Notre Dame.

There was one problem: The kicker was missing.

Nick Sciba was busy warming up on the sideline while everyone else was in position to snap the ball. Dom Maggio, who was preparing to hold for the attempt, looked incredulous when he realized what was happening.

Sciba eventually saw the error of his ways and scrambled into position. Not surprisingly, his rushed 38-yard attempt banged into the left upright and the game remained tied.
