Cleveland Browns Finally Win A Game

The team had gone 635 days and 19 straight games since their last victory on Dec. 24, 2016. But they actually did it, defeating the New York Jets, 21-17, in Cleveland behind their No. 1 draft pick, Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Baker Mayfield.

There is only so much of Joe Buck's mind numbing drivel this household can take.
We raised the white flag of surrender, turned it off and missed the comeback.

It's becoming the norm in sports broadcasting to fill every one air second with drivel no one cares about. Like if we don't know what gas station so & so favored during their college days, or what so & so's cousin did in 1965... as if our enjoyment will drop off if the air waves are not filled with banter, we might change the channel.

Personally, I love the crowd, the emotion, they try to drown it out.

The erstwhile radio team of Greg Papa with Tom Flores for the Raiders (and the legendary Bill King before him) were way better than any TV crew ... though I gotta admit I don't mind Tony Romo.

Haven't bothered listening to a Musberger broadcast yet. He's so NOT THE RAIDERS it's not even funny.
