WTF is Up with the Rams' colors?

They'd be perfectly fine in St. Louis or Cleveland, but the last time they were the Los Angeles Rams, their colors were practically NEON, totally garish, bordering on tacky. In other words, the perfect look for La-La Land! Why can't they replicate the colors they brought to St. Louis BEFORE toning them down slightly for their last few years in Missouri?

1. Because their original colors in L.A. were just blue and white...

They only added gold in, I believe, 1972. Before that, their uniforms were very understated and, IMO, looked really good.

3. I'm aware they kept their Cleveland unis when they first moved to L.A.

But that was decades ago! Just think of how tacky and tawdry the city has become since then.

9. Since when were Lakers (or LA) considered tacky?

I think you have us confused with Las Vegas.

Los Angeles is far too dynamic and multi-faceted to be dismissed as tacky.

6. I agree. The uniforms from before they left LA were classic. The helmets are the best in the league

2. My understanding was that the current helmet is a throwback to the very early LA Rams days

which predates even the blue and yellow uniforms.

But the pairing of that blue and white helmet with the StL era blue and gold color scheme (and especially the modern/cartoonish logo in blue and gold on the shoulder) is weird.

12. Yes, they are waiting until the new stadium to reveal a new uniform design.

Since the Chargers also use yellow and blue, I don't know if they will complement that or go a different direction.

13. The Chargers can go back to using powder blue and yellow; the Rams can go with dark blue and yellow

I do wish they'd wear them full-time.

Even the 50 yard logo has the blue and yellow helmet.

All's right in the world!

On edit: The LA Memorial Coliseum seats 93,000, and it's full, so the orange anus can go suck a lemon!
