(1,537 posts)Go Pack Go! I went to the game in Lambeau a couple of weeks ago. I took my cousin, who is from our neighborhood & has lived in Chicago for a long time. She is a Packer fan & has never been to a game. It was a wonderful memory for us both & what a game! I don't know if history will repeat itself, but here's hoping!

(79,266 posts)One of my cousins is a diehard Packer fan.
He made me promise to watch this game and I rarely watch pro ball.
But I guess I will give it a go.
He told me the Bears are moving to Indiana to get rich with some sort of scheme.

(18,617 posts)remaining after this contest. Whoever wins will be in the division lead and probably stay there and become the #2 seed in the NFC. Whoever loses will probably be the #6 or #7 seed wildcard.
Bears will then face the 49ers and Lions, the harder remaining schedule.
Packers will then face the Ravens and Vikings, the easier remaining schedule.
This game is a big deal, playoffs-wise.

(35,176 posts)I do watch on my iPad, down by down. Just soooooooooooo nervous to watch live. 🫣. Go Pack Go. 🥰 💚 💛

(79,266 posts)I see why my cousins wants me to watch the game.

(18,617 posts)Since they all play the same number of games in a full season, having one game count as neither a win nor a loss makes the "same record, ahead, behind" accounting a little wonky.

(79,266 posts)I only watch college ball and I think the Tie situation is a bit different there.

(28,605 posts)Very frustrating with each only managing a field goal in OT.
Packers came back big in the 4th, but Dallas hung on.
I was happily surprised when Denver won that game last week.

(28,605 posts)I had a wicked crush on Joe Namath and bet $100 (which I didn't have) on the Jets in SB 3..
Luckily I lived to tell about it..

(2,895 posts)Add to that the fact that this is the NFLs oldest rivalry. This game would carry a lot of meaning with Bears and Packers fans even if their teams had losing records and were out of the playoff hunt.
Even though Im a Ravens fan, Ill be following this game with interest as I am starting Packer WR Jayden Reed in my fantasy league playoffs this week. Packer QB Jordan Love has been playing quite well in recent weeks so I hope he can provide Reed plenty of opportunities to light up the stat sheet!
I hope its an exciting matchup and may the best team win!

(853 posts)The Bears are without Rome Odunze and Luther Burden II, but they have decent depth at WR. Parsons is irreplaceable but they still have a solid defense. Packers are a 2 point favorite. The whole question is which Caleb Williams will play.
We'll see.

(22,443 posts)The deliberate helmet hit on Jordan Love should get him thrown out of the game.

(853 posts)The Packers have flat out outplayed the Bears, leading 13-3. Foolish attempt at a cute play in the first quarter backfired on them. No way Booker deliberately hit him with his helmet, I think, but if he did punishment is in order.

(853 posts)Caleb Williams is sometimes off but when he is on, he is amazing.

(853 posts)1. I've been a Bears fan a long damn time, and I am accustomed to being disappointed. After a while you begin to expect to be disappointed.
2. Packers defense was stellar for 55 minutes. They lost not just Micah Parsons but excellent safety Evan Williams, and they still were dominant.
3. Down by ten in the fourth and forced to settle for a field goal? Usually a recipe for losing. Then they took really too long to kick the field goal that they had to try an onside kick.
4. Onside kicks are almost always unsuccessful.
But they pulled off another miracle.
