1. Maybe that will take the pout off of Rodgers' face

despite his claim that he and Saleh are good friends. Bill Belichick is still looking for a job. Can't imagine he and Rodgers would be a good fit either.

The Jets will need someone who takes marching orders from Aaron.

3. What is it with the Jets?

Saleh was a master DC for San Francisco.
Rodgers played at Cal Berkeley.
Apparent heir to the job is Jeff Ulbricht, who played for the 49ers.

When he was back in town, Rodgers had some odd remarks:

For dessert, Rodgers recommended cookies at the DoubleTree on the Berkeley Marina. From there, in typical Rodgers fashion, he took the conversation in a whole different direction.

“And take a walk around that little marina there, where there was an infamous case. Scott Peterson allegedly dumped the body of his pregnant wife there in the marina,” Rodgers said.

Twisted? Do bears shit in the woods?

but the real problem is Woody Johnson. He's not a football mind and he needs to learn you can't buy a Super Bowl.

7. McCarthy coached the Packers team that went to the SuperBowl in 2011 and got Rodgers

his only ring.

McCarthy was canned in 2018 after years of Rodgers whining about him, including the statement "He has the lowest football IQ of anyone who has ever coached me".

Edit: Rodgers got along better with Matt LaFleur, but then he was constantly whining about the General Manager. You can't please him.

we watched Rodgers last two years in Green Bay and we saw deterioration in his performance. Passes off target far more than previously, wide open receivers overthrown/missed etc. He improved about half way into the season but it was noticeable and talked about very much. So when the Jets gave him this massive contract it was surprising to many of us because we had seen the deterioration and we felt that his age and injuries were catching up to him. His performance with the Jets so far does nothing to indicate that the last season in Green Bay was an outlier. He is now even older with an increased history of serious injury. Sports commentators have been mentioning this, finally, also.
