(84,306 posts)He took all those fat criticisms and smart-ass barbs personally. I once interviewed him and he said so. A very sweet and deep and sensitive soul. He was a large imposing figure but somehow you still wanted to protect him and fight dragons for him.
How could you not love him? How could ANYBODY not love him? Hes undoubtedly Upstairs now - where EVERYBODY loves him, and appreciates him deeply. He has God in his audience now, and it doesnt get better than that.
