Related: About this forumAnyone here remember Roman Gabriel?
Back in the 60's when there were only like 3, maybe 4 channels on TV, we got the NFL West Coast late game here on the East Coast. CBS had the Rams on almost every Sunday. Gabriel was your proto-typical NFL quarterback. Strong in the pocket and had an arm that was dynamite. On defense, you had the Fearsome Foursome. Loved me the Rams back in the day.....

Also did a movie with John Wayne...The Undefeated.

(10,420 posts)He was tough to bring down. He also did some acting he was a lot better quarterback than an actor.

(7,879 posts)I was in a pee wee team like 10 years old that played a game before the State game. Gabriel shook everyones hand. Till this day I think of him as a giant, he was so tall compared to me.

(576 posts)Having Jack Snow didn't hurt. I always thought that Jack never got the credit he deserved.
