I don't like Al Michaels. He's a winger.

But I had to watch the Niners and the Hawks. While I was hatin' on Al, I decided I really miss Howard Cosell. I wonder what he would have made of all this.

liked him, regardless of what his politics might be just because he doesn't act all ass-holey and goofy like the Three Stooges (Gruden, Tirico, Jaworski) did, although now that "Jaws" isn't with the other two, they're way less lame.

Then there's Jim Nantz and Phil Simms.

I can't stand them. Well, mostly Simms. Something about him makes me want to slap him.

Probably my other two favorites are Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.

The thing that really annoys me about some of those commentators is that during every game, they always talk up this or that player and call him "one of the best in the league".

If that's true, then there have to be at least 200 guys who are "one of the best" in the league.
