Still ]is sitting on the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door.
And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon that is dreaming,
And the lamplight o'er him streaming casts his shadow on the floor.
And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor,
Ahall be lifted - nevermore!

Kept calling (as I left the house,) and I called back, but couldn't tell where calling from; tried to find within large magnolia, but no luck (until spotted later, w apples!)

Hearing calls NOW, but too hot to go out.

I love ravens, they are SOOO smart! I've seen videos of them solving complex problems, and using tools to do it.

There's a family of ravens that have been nesting for years up the wooded hill behind us. Their babies are a raucous lot! They have a much higher-pitched call than the adult birds, and they call to each other constantly.
