Kept calling (as I left the house,) and I called back, but couldn't tell where calling from; tried to find within large magnolia, but no luck (until spotted later, w apples!)
Hearing calls NOW, but too hot to go out.

I love ravens, they are SOOO smart! I've seen videos of them solving complex problems, and using tools to do it.
There's a family of ravens that have been nesting for years up the wooded hill behind us. Their babies are a raucous lot! They have a much higher-pitched call than the adult birds, and they call to each other constantly.
