I think I have seen some type of hummingbird in my garden, but never got close enough to get a good photo. Well if it is not a hummingbird it is a bird of about that size and with similar movements.

They live on the the West Coast from British Columbia through California. I've never seen one. Here in El Paso I get Broad Tails, but have never been able to get a good picture because I have to keep my feeders in the shade of my Giant Yuccas or it will evaporate away. I even trimmed of some of the dead branches to get a better view at sunse, but now have another drooping branch in the way. Trimming them is dangerous as they have sharp "Saw Teeth" on their brabches.
