(231 posts)I was spending the weekend once at a preserve in series of seep lakes in Washington States Channeled Scablands with some friends doing a bit of birding and butterfly hunting. The RWBBs were described by a friend as sounding like your angry Jewish aunt.
Now, I dont possess an angry Jewish aunt, but I assume that the obnoxious scolding they do must be akin to something from her memories of growing-up in New York. But they do make a lot of noise.
I like the parts where Im outside with a camera and binocs going for long walks in interesting places hunting Checkerspots and Meadowhawks and get surprised by an Osprey or whitetail. The birds can talk all they want.
