Rainy day ride on the porch with "The Triplets of Belleville."

I hate riding stationary but it was raining really hard so I put my mini dvd player on my music stand and dug out "The Triplets of Belleville." If you've never seen it, well it's a riot. It's an animated French film about Champion, his enormous dog Bruno and grandmother/trainer Madam Souza. Subtitles are not present nor needed.

Champion on a training ride with Madam Souza. There is a scene after this where she cups his sore muscles with a vacuum cleaner.

I only just now saw it and had to tell you: that is one of my favorite movies of all time. I can't believe I forgot about it when I was posting my favorite movies in The Lounge. I had wanted to mention it to you some time ago but thought I was probably one of only a few people in the world who ever saw that film.

I love the music, the animation is gorgeous and it is just so wonderfully funny. I am very happy to know that you are a fan, as well. Now I will have to dig through my collection and watch it again. Yay!!
