What a game last night! Japan over Mexico with a walk off double!

USA and Japan play for the title tonight!

1. What's world about it?

Almost all the games are played in the US. Most players on the 'national' teams are actually US based. It's a spinoff of American Major League Baseball designed to build revenue before the real season starts. I'm happy for baseball junkies though. I hope the final is a good game.

...baseball is the most "world" sport we've got.
Even hockey is more loaded with North Americans.
In this tournament, every team has MLB players, most of them stars.
So yes, I think this is a world affair.
If the Olympics are in London, is it less a worldwide affair?

...with teammates facing each other, (arguably the 2 best players in all of baseball), representing countries with the highest level leagues that exist.
Yeah, classic is the right word!
