When Shohei Ohtani signed with the Angels, I thought the idea of a two-way player was ridiculous.

In case people need proof that I have no idea whatsoever what I'm talking about when it comes to baseball (or frankly anything else), there it is. I seriously could not have been more wrong.

Ruth would have been a HOF pitcher had he not shown such prowess as a hitter.

He's certainly fast enough, and clearly has the arm, to play outfield.
If he starts having arm problems, even if temporary, and it costs him at-bats, they'll start thinking the pitching thing should be a thing of the past.
He's already been on the IL this year, and with an OPS of 1.057, he HAS to be in the lineup.
But for now, we can enjoy the ride!
I was getting Ichiro withdrawal (was a huge fan), so it's cool to have another phenomenon from Japan to watch.
