The Giants beat the Dodgers 8-0 at Seals Stadium in the first MLB game on the West Coast on April 15, 1958

For a bit of synchronicity and all that, the Dodgers and Giants played each other for the first time on April 18, 1884, in an exhibition game won by the Giants, 8-0.
