Especially with there being so few knuckleball pitchers (just Steven Wright if I'm not mistaken) in baseball these days. His brother Joe also had a pretty good knuckler, though not as wicked as Phil's.

I used to track the San Francisco Giants as a kid. Willie Mays, Willie McCovey, Juan Marichal....but the detail of stats kept today just blows my mind.

Q: What's the highest number of wins of any baseball pitcher who died before his 40th birthday?

A: I sure don't know, but I bet that stat is kept somewhere.
