Cardinals-Greatest comeback in recent memory

St. Louis Cardinals, down by 2 runs, down to their last out, Descalso base hit scores 2 runs, ties it up, with a 2 strike count, Kozma hits a 2 run single to put the Cardinals up, 9-7, Cardinals closer Jason Motte comes on, end of story.
Good job Cards.

I was worried there for a while but I never gave up on them. Now they go to Candlestick Park where they meet the Giants, I believe they have the momentum to win it all again.

My pick to announce the game would have been Vin Scully. I loved how he would describe a home run, "High drive to deep left field, __________________ is going back, awaaaaaaaaaay back, he's at the track, he's at the wall, he looks up, it's GONE, a home run for ______________________." One of the greatest announcers of all time, too bad it was for the Dodgers.

They don't play baseball at Candlestick Park anymore. Remember the Giants built an new park in downtown SF a few years back?? I still refer to it as PacBell Park even though it has a different name now. The series should be fun. Good Luck

I've always pulled for the Cards.....EXCEPT when they play the Nats.......

Big Props to the Cards fans in attendance, they were respectfully happy, no gloats to be heard.

Ah well, next year..........

They had a hell of a season, played the Cards tough, just couldn't close the deal.
My wife and I along with my next door neighbors have tickets for the playoffs at Busch Stadium. Looking forward to a good series.

Now they have experience. They are young. They'll be back.

When the Cardinals offense shows up, they are virtually unstoppable. Getting it to show up has been their problem for the last few years.

But the offense always seems to show up at just the right time, witness last night. Greatest comeback yet.
