After Gibson's 68 season, if done today, teams couldn't

afford to pay him. Hell, he would still go out there and hit showboaters for free. Drysdale also.

...3 times against Ferguson Jenkins. '68 & '69
Cubs won one game 1-0, lost the other two 1-0 & 2-1, in 10 innings.
Same 2 pitchers, threw 56 innings & gave up 7 runs TOTAL.
Believe it or not, Jenkins had even more complete games than Gibson, 267-255.
Oh, and those games were FAST. The only game that went over 2 hours was the 10 inning game!
