If I was Dave Roberts I would curtail Ohtani's base stealing

A lot of injuries can happen on the base pads: strained hamstrings, sprained wrists, broken hand and fingers ... any of which would out Ohtani on the I.L. for part or most of the playoffs.

Unless it's a clear case the division championship is in question, or home field advantage, I'd have a talk with Shohei and ask just what's left to prove -- and how important that is -- having already achieved 50/50.

As a Guardians' fan, I ask the same of Jose Ramirez. Awesome, productive base stealer. Just be really smart about it. You're valuable at third base -- but irreplaceable in the line-up.

2. Hahahahaha. I'd say Ohtani is doing all right without your advice.

Like the Dodgers aren't going flame out like they do every time.

Ohtani better enjoy the good times while they last.
