(61,138 posts)I've seen two.
In the category of "it's still possible to get one, but watch out for rust," it's a BMW CS coupé.
The whole Ferrari/Lamborghini thing doesn't thrill me at all. For an exotic, I'd go with a Citroën Maserati.

(18,591 posts)I also love the '65 Shelby/AC 427 Cobra
In the realm of the possible, I had this car and would love to get a restored model
A Chevy 1966 Caprice wagon with 396 CID V8, 4 speed Muncie trans, dual exhaust and Rochester quadrajet.
At 9 MPG driving around town it wouldn't be light on the wallet but I got close to 18 on the highway.
(That could drop to 6 if there was good music on the radio.)

(21 posts)Have always wanted the 1966 Lincoln 2 door continental convertible, in the crimson red with black interior, with black convertible top... the 66 is a special year for Lincoln with many refinements made and 66 had very specific emblems and moldings... the true luxury sports coupe... that's been my number one for years.... my number two is a 1969 Mercury Marauder X100 hardtop with the tunnel back.... who cares what color....

(6,374 posts)1970 because of my birth year and the CURVES AND CHROME!
We lived in a condo complex when I was a kid. Two Corvettes in the place and they let me wash their cars for $1 every week. Imagine... how many times I followed those curves!! Lol!
I've owned a 1974. The '70 is still on the bucket list.
