Back in May there was a Lotus rally down in TN through the mountains. Lotus vs The Dragon. 3 days of driving through the mountains with 40+ other Lotus owners. It was nuts! I had sooooo much fun owning the twisties!

(3,010 posts)My boss took his Porsche down that road. He sold it after the pandemic though. I also have a friend with an old Lotus Europa. I don't know if it would make the trip though. I'm getting ready to sell my old 350z. I never did the Tail of the Dragon, but I drove it from Miami all the way up through New Hampshire. I took another trip up toward Asheville. It was fun driving it through the mountains. It's getting really long in the tooth now and needs restoration. It's 20 years old and has well over 200K miles. I'm going to miss it, but sometimes it's best to let things go. I can always save up and buy something else sporty to drive. Your car is beautiful! Enjoy it!

(11,994 posts)I feel your pain on getting rid of your 350. When I sold my 3000GT Id owned for 12 years, I had a lump in my throat and wet/blurred vision watching it drive away. Crazy how much a machine can mean to a person.
