I cannot understand his politics but I admire the dedication that it takes to compete at that level - it is a reminder of what is possible when we push ourselves to be our best.

Competed in the olympics as a man in mens events. Thats just a matter of record.

Its nothing to erase.

And what does it have to do with anything today?

The current boxing controversy does not not involve transgender athletes. It involves a natural woman being attacked for something false.

It struck me while watching the Norwegian athlete take the Gold in the Decathlon today that Jenner made a career of his Gold medal. But now Bruce Jenner becomes Caitlyn when searching.

The wasted time arguing about sexual identity is a bit frustrating. So many accomplishments are overshadowed by the hate generated by fundamentalists of every religion. I wish it could be cast aside.
