Caitlin Clark Shares Insightful Admission About Angel Reese After Sunday's Win

The most craved rivalry in the WNBA took place again on Sunday. Both players held up their end of the bargain.

Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese went toe-to-toe in one of the most entertaining basketball games both teams have played.

For the game, Clark went for 23 points, nine assists and eight rebounds while Reese put up an eye-opening sixth straight double-double.

Clark discussed why so many people are drawn to watching the two players face off in particular. Her response illuminated what so many look forward to see each time the players match up.

“I think it’s just the emotion and the passion that we play with. I think people love to see that. And I think that’s maybe not something that was always appreciated in women’s sports and it should be.”

The notorious physical assault she subjected Clark to was plain bad sportsmanship.

Maybe she thought her head was the ball, even though the ball was about three feet away.

LiberalFighter, in your two sign-off quotes, is that first one really an 1814 quote from Thomas Jefferson? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Republican Party didn't exist in 1814. The first Republican presidential nominee was John C. Fremont in 1856, and Abraham Lincoln was the second in 1860. Was there another party in 1814 that was also called the Republican Party?

The date refers to the second or Jefferson quote.
