1. Bwahhahahahahahha. She's absolutely right. And those guys on the panel know it.

What a great rant. Husband duffers are not getting anywhere close being a scratch golfer, much less even to tour-level play.

It's still fun though, out there with your buddies in nature, the beer wench coming around, laughing at poor shot, cheering at good ones.

You do have to not be selfish though if you have a wife and family. Just play on Saturday, as Sunday is reserved for watching football.

...of bogey golf????
That is really slow.
The gang I play with almost always plays 18 in under 3 hours!
The problem is, that the golf powers that be still promote the 4 hour round. The four hour round was based on WALKING the course.
90% of recreational golfers use carts. People walk at 3mph. Carts go 12-15mph.
The 1.5 to 2 hours involved in getting from shot to shot is cut by 75%.
Should shave an hour & a half off every round.
She may be less annoyed if he was gone 2 fewer hours.
To all the rec golfers: GET MOVING!
