I love track and field. Glad to see that it is being held in USA. Wish I could be there live. I am in awe of how these athletes push their bodies and minds to the limit. Their inspiring life stories, so uplifting.
Great distraction from the news.

1. Dedication and talent

I was able to go to the US T&F Olympic Trials when they were held in Indianapolis, before the Games in Atlanta. I have a photo somewhere of a big grin and wave from Jackie Joyner Kersey when the friend I was with yelled--Go Jackie! We weren't very I actually enjoyed these more than the Games.

2. I do too. Whenever track and field is on I watch it.

It's a beautiful sport with a variety of events...something for everyone.

BTW, the American men swept the 100 meter dash yesterday, beating the Jamaicans.

3. Yeah, the Jamaican men have not looked good in the sprints

since, Bolt retired. The women are amazing though. I think one of them will break Flo Jo’s record.
