(17,275 posts)is why the Steelers 'cut bait!'
Seriously, the guy has problems - I truly hope he gets some help.
I also believe it started with this:

(57,705 posts)I always thought pro teams were boring compared to college teams.
Yikes, this was great.
What a weekend, OSU wins the Rose Bowl and NFL teams start taking their clothes off and running around the field.

(15,540 posts)It's clear that Brown has some mental health issues, needs help, and isn't
accepting any. Brady's comments tempered my opinion a bit.

P.S. Were the 4-11 Jets winning at the time?

(69,921 posts)They led nearly the whole game but;
The Jets failed on 4th down at the Bucs' 7.
Tampa drove down the field & scored with under 30 seconds on what looked to be about a 35 yard TD pass.
Not sure why the Jets didn't kick the short field goal.

(69,921 posts)I'm a Bears fan, so I watched that game.
The Bears are NOT GOOD! They manhandled the Giants.
NY football is a dumpster fire right now.

One would need to be a high level therapist to explain AB's behavior.

(15,540 posts)Brady lobbied the New England Patriots to pick him up while he was still with tge Patriots. That stint was short lived . He then got Tampa Bay to pick him up and even let him stay at his house in Florida.
I think it was an effort to keep him from self destructing. It doesn't seemed to have worked.

He once ran around the bases backwards after a home run. He talked to Babe Ruth's monument in center field at Yankee Stadium. Got in fights, thrown out of games along with other issues. They even made a movie about his mental issues. Still managed to play over 15 years in the majors.
Here is clip from the movie....

(20,328 posts)I don't see anything here that warrants that much condemnation against Arians. He was pushing Brown to play (and maybe AB needs that sometimes) but it doesn't appear that it was a "You'll play or you're done!" message.

(20,328 posts)The active warrant stems from a domestic battery incident involving a woman, Tampa Police said.
On Nov. 28 at approximately 1:30 p.m., Brown and the woman were involved in a verbal altercation at his home in South Tampa. The argument became physical, and according to police, Brown threw a shoe at the victim. Brown also attempted to evict the woman from the home by locking her out.
On Nov. 29, a judge denied a petition for a temporary risk protection order to prevent him from possessing firearms or ammunition if he was considered a threat to himself or others.
