Granted, so much money spent on baseball is obscene, but the Dodgers were the epitome of a team trying to buy its way to another World Series.

all we managed to see the Yankees sweep the Braves in NYC in the late 90s. Karma !!
We paid $18 per ticket which we managed to get online (dial up) by hitting "enter" a thousand times.
While in line to get in, someone offered us $2k for both. We said no way. Still remember the overwhelming smell of pot in the stands the moment they won.
