Ah the challenges of covering stories on the ground.

Tomorrow my challenge will be how to keep my bloody notes DRY. No, not kidding. I am going to see if I have the kind of notebook that works in the rain... or if I can get a few of those for days like well, tomorrow. Of course if I get a cheap poncho that might be part of the solution.

Those are not usual challenges when writing a novel at home.

But hey, between the camera, the water, the food, the notes... it will be fun.

wet one for a dry one... proved to be a real bear. I know I need to pick more, mostly these two, though still not full, are probably not very useful anymore. Will see when they dry. But yup, keeping notes dry was a bear, a real bear.

Definitely thinking getting some paper for wet conditions if I keep doing this.

(Oh and keeping myself dry, more or less, was a challenge as well)
