I think I'll enter again this year. My pitch got me through the first round last year and both my reviewers said they wanted to read more. I've changed the opening completely so it might be worth another try.

I'm going to enter my new novel, "Weep." I just published it but I still hold all the rights. I had an offer from a small publisher, but it was a terrible contract, so I just did it myself. So far, so good except that it's impossible to get press or reviews when you self-publish. This contest looks like a good opportunity.
