An 18-year-old forced his 5-year-old cousin to perform oral sex on him
A Pembroke Pines. FL, woman walked into her den Sunday to find her 5-year-old niece having oral sex with her 18-year-old cousin, according to police. Dimitri Daniels is charged with sexual assault by an adult on a victim under 12 and lewd and lascivious behavior by an adult on a victim under 12. According to his arrest report, he told police Sunday wasn’t the first time Daniels raped his cousin; the arrest report said there were more than four occasions in which these alleged acts occurred at his Pembroke Pines home.
Pines cops are concerned there could be more victims. Daniels, police say, was a volunteer with a children’s youth group at Mt. Pisgah Seventh-day Adventist Church in Miami Gardens, 3340 NW 215th St.
On Monday, family members brought Daniels to the Pembroke Pines police station. After being read his rights, Daniels admitted to the behavior, police said. “I highly respect the family for encouraging the suspect to admit to his crime and physically bringing him to the police department to confess,” said Amanda Conwell, a Pembroke Pines police spokesperson.
Police want parents whose children might have had contact with Daniels to talk to their children. Anyone with information or who knows of other victims can call Pembroke Pines Police Department’s Investigations Bureau at 954-431-2225.
