HOUSTON - A kidnapping victim was shot to death Thursday during an FBI investigation at a northeast Houston home, sources told KPRC-TV.

Investigators said FBI agents were conducting an operation at a home in the 7300 block of Elbert Street when the victim was shot.

Sources said the man was taken from Montgomery County on Wednesday.

The victim was pronounced dead at LBJ Hospital.

Christina Garza, public affairs officer for the Houston FBI office, said several people were inside the home, including two children, at the time of the shooting. No one else was injured.

An FBI agent fatally shot the victim of a kidnapping during a raid early Thursday at a Houston home, authorities said.

FBI spokeswoman Christina Garza said the agent shot the man shortly before 4am during an “operation” at the home. The man, whose name was not immediately released, died later at a hospital.

Police in Conroe, about 40 miles north of Houston, confirmed the man had been kidnapped and held for ransom.

“The system failed. Whether it was accidental or not, the man is not going home to his family,” Conroe police chief Philip Dupuis said.

Don't get me wrong....this is awful that an innocent person died. But in complex hostage situations, there are sometimes fatalities and it also includes either friendly fire or even the hostage takers killing a hostage.

I just think the GOP traitors to this Nation and Comrade Shithole supporters will use anything they can take....
