I will contain my disappointment and check out your book. Big SciFi fan. I almost had a book published once, ..... but the editor rejected it.

Almost having it published is pretty good, and I'd guess there's a good chance another editor would like it. Or try to get an agent.

I tossed the manuscript after reading it again 20 years or so after writing it. It was garbage.

But thanks. Maybe another 40 years from now when I'm 110 years old. hehe.

8. I am now at Mile Hi, I have a copy of the anthology in hand.

It is, as any published authors here know, very gratifying to see your work in print.
Plus. this afternoon we were able to do a signing here at the Con. All of the authors on site happily signed each other's copies, and people showed up purchasing the book and we all happily signed those as well.

Life is good.
