the demons grow wherever i step taller at ease
following desperate silent nurtured by the years
a hate that can never be reconciled or appeased
i am a sower of a violent apple tree fed by fears
wandering from place to place releasing the hate
children whispering follow legends will be made
yet when met face to face i can always ingratiate
hiding a heart so hollow a soul has been flayed
evil cloaked in innocence life under the shroud
wearing shepard sandals on calloused dirty feet
a mask bathed in radiance so haughty and proud
of flesh scented candles sickly savory and sweet
under the flickering halo horns carefully hidden
a barbed tail hangs below the beast rarely ridden
