No alternatives
All has been taken
Pulled away by force
Leaving nothing but bones
No flesh, no muscle
Nothing but shattered bones
What do I do now?
When I have nothing but anger
At those who have stolen my life
Destroyed my family
Taken everything away
So they can eat the caviar
Sail upon their yachts
In unholy excess?
I could crawl into a hole
Wither away and die
Without resistance
Without comeuppance
Only anonymous
Like so many others
Destroyed by their superiors
Who live by the creed of greed
Or I could fight back
Along with many others
Searching out the destroyers
To meet the fate of the blade
To be utterly humiliated
Naked
Swinging from the lamp post
Or bloodied at the wall
But that would mean I have become
One of them
One of the animals
A swine at the trough
Ready to feed
On vengeance
Filled with hate
Just like them
