Poem by Chilean poet Gabriela Mistral who died in 1957
Poet and teacher Gabriela Mistral, whose real name was Lucila Godoy Alcayaga passed away on January 10, 1957 in New York. Among her works we find Death Sonnets, Desolation, Tenderness, among others. For her poetic work, she received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1945. She was born in Chile in 1889.
