When the trump boys were toddlers, Donald put Eric up on the mantle of the fireplace. "I want you to jump and I'll catch you", said Donald. Eric wouldn't jump and Donald spent several minutes wheedling. "Really, son, come on, jump and I'll catch you!" Little Eric finally got up the nerve and jumped. Donald let him fall on his head. As Eric lay there, stunned, Donald said, "Son, let that be a lesson. Never trust anyone, not even your own Dad!"
