after I found it on a box of my old Barbie dolls. It says "SMASH, the Monkees" in yellow and red. It is almost faded now.

After the Monkees I was into Bobby Sherman.

I'm a first generation fan. I even had a Monkees lunchbox back in the day. I saw Micky and Davy in the 70s with Boyce and Hart and then, the whole group in 1986 in L.A.

It's sad that Micky is the only one left.

Great memories.

I discovered them by accident in while watching a bunch of other 60's shows. It was 81 I believe so I'm not sure what generation fan I am. I recognised Davy from the Brady Bunch episode he did. I believe he knew Florence Henderson from their Broadway days. Papa Nez was that bearded guy who made strange but cool music videos. I regret that I never got to see them after the 80's revival. Davy & Peter were my favorites but I love all of them.

Almost forgot: Welcome to DU
