I loved comic books growing up in the 60s...

I remember riding my bike a couple of miles or so to a local drugstore that had one of those revolving stands of comic books. I don't remember exactly what the price was but I could usually afford a couple from my paper route money. Superman and Batman were my favorites...Just reminiscing.

I preferred the DC superheroes, despite my recognition that Marvel ventured beyond the simplistic good vs evil paradigm. I stuck with the goings-on within the DC universe for the scale of their epic battles.
