Just getting started, but I thought I'd keep a running thread as I go. It's gonna be deep. It explains how detrimental our device addictions are and how divided people are on politics and religion.
The old left-brain, right-brain theories were popular in the 80's, and largely de-bunked with modern brain scans and surgeries. However, his research shows there are differences, and they're not nearly as simplistic as previously assumed.
Basically, rb is holistic and lb is detail. Rb knows about and requires the help of lb, but lb doesn't even know rb exists, and so we get mired in specific data to no larger human service. Thus, global warming and nationalism.
Gonna be great, but really deep weeds. He says he's not gonna expect readers who work in the field, and so I'm hoping I can hang on and keep up. We'll see!
